We are Connie and Coffee — a maker and her faithful sewing companion.
Co. Handmade Studio began during one of the most challenging periods of my life. During the COVID years, I started experiencing signs of depression. Some mornings, I would find myself crying unexpectedly while driving to work. Deep down, I knew something wasn't right.
One day, while scrolling online, I came across a tutorial for a small handmade pouch. I thought, "Maybe I can make that too."
So I pulled out a sewing machine that my mother had bought years ago but only used twice before it sat for nearly ten years.
Starting from the very beginning, I learned how to thread the machine, watched countless tutorials, and slowly taught myself sewing skills one stitch at a time. Before long, I finished my very first pouch.
It wasn't perfect, but it gave me confidence and happiness.
Before long, my computer desk had a new companion — a sewing table beside it, covered with fabrics, zippers and labels. The bags I made found their way to friends, family members, and colleagues. Seeing their smiles when they received something handmade brought me so much joy, and little by little, sewing helped me find my way out of a difficult chapter of life.

Life is never truly perfect, and neither are handmade creations. Every bag I make may carry tiny imperfections — a reminder that it was made by real hands, with care, patience, and love.
But those little differences are also what make each piece unique.
